Patna Coaching Firing Row: Khan Sir Booked Under Arms Act, Name Added to FIR (OpenAi)
Patna: The troubles of renowned teacher and founder of Khan Global Studies, Faisal Khan alias Khan Sir seem to be increasing. On the basis of new videos and evidence that came to light during the investigation of the alleged firing incident that took place outside his coaching institute in Patna, the police have also added his name to the FIR registered. Sections like Arms Act and allegedly giving wrong information to the police have been imposed in the case. After this, the fear of legal action against Khan sir has deepened.
According to police sources, the direction of the investigation changed after some new videos related to the incident surfaced. The initial complaint claimed that several rounds were fired at the coaching centre, but the evidence found during the investigation forced the police to re-investigate the entire incident. After this, Khan Sir's name was also included by amending the FIR.
According to Town DSP-1 Rajesh Ranjan, the information given to the police regarding the firing incident was not found to be completely correct in the investigation. Police allege that misleading information was given regarding the incident, on the basis of which law and order agencies had to become active. For this reason, a case has been registered for giving false information and under the Arms Act.
In this case, two security guards of Khan sir have already been arrested and sent to jail. Police claim that after the firing incident, an attempt was made to hide some evidence related to the incident. The investigating agencies are also trying to find out what steps were taken by the people present at the spot after the firing and whether any evidence was tampered with.
This entire incident happened on the night of June 2, when information of firing was received outside Khan Global Studies Coaching Centre. At that time it was claimed that unknown people fired several rounds targeting the coaching institute. After the incident, there was a sensation in the area and a large number of students and local people gathered at the spot.
According to police sources, during interrogation, Khan sir said that the bullet was fired in self-defense. While presenting his side, he said that this step was taken keeping security in mind. However, the police are now investigating this claim as well and are trying to reach the truth of the entire matter on the basis of available video footage, statements of eyewitnesses and forensic reports.
Legal experts believe that the scope of investigation has increased after the name was added to the FIR. However, the decision whether arrest will be made or not will depend on the facts emerging in the investigation. At present, the police have made it clear that the investigation of the case is ongoing and all aspects are being thoroughly investigated. The police are expected to share detailed information by late evening.
